Genocide survivor turned senior developer and founder of 2 live products: NOORVA (B2B CRM for African telcos at noorva.co, in talks with Ethio Telecom) and Risala (record-keeping app at risala.ac, on App Store & Play Store). 8+ years building systems for the UN, WHO and Fortune 500 clients β after first touching a computer at university.
"In 2003, my family survived the Darfur genocide. We fled to IDP camps where, from age 7, I worked in the market to help buy basics like oil and sugar. I touched my first keyboard at university β my peers had a 15-year head start. Today I build systems for the United Nations and WHO (featured on BBC and The Times), and I've founded NOORVA and Risala to solve real problems for African businesses and entrepreneurs."

In 2003, my family and I were among the few survivors of the Darfur genocide. We fled to IDP camps in Nyala β Otash and Kalma β and rebuilt our lives from zero. From age 7, I worked in the market after school (selling tissues, carrying goods, renting a small trading spot) to help buy the basics that aid organizations couldnβt provide: oil, onions, sugar.
For 9 years I hustled while staying top of my class. When I entered Sudanβs top university, I touched a computer keyboard for the first time β my peers had used them since kindergarten. By 2016 I had built a complete Facebook clone that won Best Exhibit at the university open week. Today I build products for the UN and WHO, featured on BBC and The Times, and help teams ship reliable software under pressure.
